Rebecca Ann Ellis, 59, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK. Visitation for friends and family will be on Friday, February 12, 2021, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Tx 76013. Services for Becky will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 13th at The Chapel of Wade Funeral Home. Becky was born on October 1, 1961 to Guillermo and Sofie Jimenez in San Antonio, Texas. Becky attended St. Rita's Catholic School, Handley Middle School, and Eastern Hills High School. After graduation, she attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Becky married Jimmy Ellis on June 8, 1985. She was a wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, friend and community volunteer. She was never able to bear children, but that didn't stop her from becoming a mom to 6 children by marriage and adoption. She loved to go “all out” with decorating and celebrating. She loved to entertain and loved to surround herself with family and friends. She welcomed everyone into her home no matter what and she never met a stranger. Becky started out as a volunteer at the Common Ground Church Food Pantry and then was promoted to an administrator for the mobile medical unit. She also volunteered at GUTS Church and food pantry and always wanted to share with others. The Church would sometimes give her food as a ‘thank you' for volunteering but Becky would give the food to others who she thought needed it more than she did because she was so giving. She loved to sing, but couldn't carry a tune. Every Christmas time Becky and Jimmy would sing “Baby It's Cold Outside”. Her family meant the world to her and she looked forward to every holiday and loved to be the “hostess with the mostest” . Becky's term of endearment for her children was to call them “Butt Muffins” after giving them a kiss on the cheek and saying “I Love You”. As her children got older her term of endearment became “Little Shit”. Becky was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ruven Jimenez, grandmother, Felipa Jimenez. Becky is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jimmy Ellis; mother, Sofie Jimenez, father Guillermo (Bill) Jimenez, sister, Arlene Kim and husband, Frank; children James-William Ellis, Stephanie Mendez and husband Jarod, Jamie Ellis, David LeMoine and wife, Melanie, Rory Ellis, and Stacy Ellis and wife, Bryanne Nance; ten grandchildren, Kaily Ellis, Miranda LeMoine, Cameron Williams, Andrew LeMoine, Michael LeMoine, Holly LeMoine, Teal Strange, Savannah Ellis, Soleil Mendez, Danica Mendez and great grandchild, Aislee Cecenas. She will also be greatly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends. Wade Family Funeral Home 817-274-9233

Guestbook

  1. I knew Becky through her mom, Sofie, who I worked with for many years. Becky had the most beautiful smile and the cutest laugh! I know that she will be missed so very much by her family and friends. I pray that the Lord will wrap them in His loving arms as they grieve and give them comfort knowing that she is in a better place and they will see her again. And I know she will live on in their hearts. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. My thoughts, prayers and love go out to all of her family and friends.
    Jeanne Biggs

  2. To my dear friend and ex-boss Arlene my condolences to you and your family on the passing of my little friend and ex-co-worker Becky. Our work days together plus seeing one another over the years will always be memorable. May God’s peace be with you. Ilisa
