  1. Seeing your face here just made this a reality that I was trying so hard to believe wasn’t real… You always kept a smile on your face, you were the glue. When lupus tried to push you, you did everything you could not to let it move. Your strength and positivity through this fight is what makes this so surreal. You were like a real life superhero fighting something that made you so ill. It’s so many I should’ve, I could’ve, and I would’ve thoughts running through my mind. But God was ready to make it your time. He is returning all the love, joy, and generosity you gave. He’s now showering his new angel with gifts and Purple wings. You inspire me to be strong. You inspire me to love life. You inspire me to be an amazing mother. The greatest comfort is knowing that you’re no longer in pain. You will forever be in my heart. I love you beautiful, what an amazing angel heaven has just gained..

  2. I would like to send my deepest sympathies and prayers to the Burns and Hunter family. Metra you were always positive and a great light here on earth to all of us. Your light will continue to shine through your kids DJ & Mecka, & I am here for them if they ever need me. You left such a great mark and impact here on earth and your fight for Lupus awareness will continue. You fought long and hard and you kept your promise to stick around til the kids were grown. Now it is time for you to rest and be with God as one of his Angels. You were definitely one of the Guardian Angels here on earth and now you will be one in Heaven watching over all your loved ones. I want to thank you for being a part of my life, a great sister, friend to me & Marcus& great auntie to my kids. We will never forget you. I don’t want to say goodbye, I will say see you later til we meet again. Rest easy in Paradise Qualimetra Burns Hunter because when we meet again it will definitely be a party. We will celebrate your life here as well. Love you forever and always..your sister from another father & mother Joana.
