ARLINGTON -- Paul Michael Lockhart, 64, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 in Arlington.
Funeral: 11 a.m Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment: 1 p.m. Monday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
Michael was born July 20, 1948 in Poteau, OK to Paul and Bessie Tiffee Lockhart.
Michael was raised in Chackasha, OK. After high school, he went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oklahoma, his Master's Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Midwestern Theological Seminary.
Michael served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
His lifelong career was Ministry of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Michael was a Methodist Minister for several years in MO. He moved to Arlington in August to be near his family.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Paul Derrill Lockhart in 2006.
Survivors: Wife, Jane Peng Lockhart; mother, Bessie Lockhart; son, Gabriel Joshua Lockhart; and sister, Olivia Lockhart.
