Patrick Thomas Baron was born in Bellevue, Washington on July 25, 1983 to Christopher and Laura Baron. He soon afterwards made the journey with his family to Dayton, Ohio strapped to the floorboards of a U-haul truck. His father, an officer in the USAF, moved Patrick and his brothers to several locations in Ohio and California over the next 12 years.
Following separation from the Air Force Patrick and his family moved to his great grandfather’s farm in Roy, Washington where he spent the rest of his growing-up years. He was homeschooled through high school, participating in rural life by raising farm animals, training dogs, playing paintball and participating in 4-H.
His first high school-age jobs revolved around working on several political campaigns in Washington State. Culminating as co-campaign manager for his State Representative at age 19.
Following a birthday present plane ride at a local airport Patrick knew what he was meant to do and be – a pilot. He began private pilot training at 16 and soloed by 18.
Reluctantly Patrick put off commercial flight school to attend Christendom College and graduated with a degree in Political Science in 2006.
After graduation he finally got his wish and entered commercial flight training, graduating in 2007. He worked for several airlines over the years and finally realized his dream of flying big jets to exotic international destinations with Air Transport International where he continued until illness ended his flying career.
Patrick never married. He lived most of his post-college life with his younger brother, best friend and co-bachelor Daniel. Throughout his working life he was a blessing to his many brothers and sisters, assisting them in their life challenges and allowing them to stay with him and Daniel until ready to move upwards and onwards with their lives.
In 2022 he became partially paralyzed with Guillain-Barré syndrome a neurological condition that robs the victim of feeling in the arms and legs and makes walking and doing things difficult. He also developed cirrhosis of the liver, liver failure and kidney failure.
Despite several hospital stays Patrick never despaired and continued to be optimistic and forward looking. He had many schemes for business ventures that he could do with his condition such as cultivating earthworms and rare mushrooms.
However his medical condition continued to worsen and he passed from this world into the arms of Jesus quietly at home on the 26th of July 2023 with happy birthday wishes from friends and family filling his phone.
Patrick is survived by his father Christopher, step-mother Lynette, siblings Michael, Daniel, Galina, Elizabeth, Mario, George, John-Paul, Wandemaggen, Hanna, Samuel , Tatiana, Stanislav, Zhanna, Shawna and step-sisters Vanessa and Amber along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Laura.
Eternal Memory. Grant rest O Lord to the soul of your servant Patrick where there is no pain, sorrow nor mourning!
