Megan Lohman was born on August 21, 1991 to Michael and Mary Kay Dunn Lohman in Arlington Tx., Megan was a childhood cancer survivor who overcame many obstacles. The family moved to St. Peter, Minnesota in 2003 where her formative years were spent before the family relocated back to Arlington in 2007. Megan was surrounded by a large and loving family who supported and helped her to enjoy life and her interests. She was a busy child who participated in special soccer, loved to get her hands wet fishing, put her spin on bowling and was most engaged with her sisters, parents and the extended family of relatives who enveloped her. She wanted everyone to be happy and she would want us to know how much she responded and cared for everyone around her. She had a fondness for all the animals and pets in her life which were many, but especially Little Willie, a beloved poodle chihuahua. Sweet natured, innocent and brave in accepting the challenges that she faced, Megan could be down at times but she could not be defeated. The support of her mother and her sisters and their devotion was unwavering and provided the foundation for Megan as she moved forward in her journey through life. That life was shortened suddenly and unexpectedly in the early hours of March 18 when Megan was taken from us too soon. In our sorrow and grief we know that Megan has a new life, free of pain and confusion and surrounded by heavenly blessings. Even as we are weighed down with our sadness we are lifted by our memories and love for this special angel who shines down on us now from above. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.

  4. I’m so sorry for the loss of Megan so early in this life. As you say your final earthly goodbyes, please know that the thoughts, prayers, and many tears of so many are with you all. I so wish I could be there to say farewell but won’t return to Texas in time. so can only send my love and condolences from afar. May her sweet, gentle and beautiful spirit be welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord. Rest in Peace little one.

  5. CandleImageMy dear cousin, such a sweet lady taken from this world and her mother too soon. We will miss her dearly but I believe she is reunited with her father Michael who she doted on so much. I can picture them walking in a field of gold swept by a nice breeze and surrounded by the pets and animals she loved so much. I am sure the air is filled by the purity and innocence that were Megan’s essence and her smile, that lovely smile, is beaming, as it always did here on earth. She will always live in our hearts.

  6. How happy her dad, Michael, and her grandmother, Helen must be. Together for all eternity! Praise God!

  7. CandleImageMegan was such a sweetheart. She always gave a smile and told me something funny. I know that she lived a life knowing what it means to be loved and cared for by her family. My prayers go out to those that loved her the most. I pray for the peace that passeth all understanding for you all.
