ARLINGTON -- Norman F. Emmons, 79, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, in Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Norman was born June 3, 1933, in Graham to Charles Ray Emmons and Lila Pardue Emmons. He served in the Navy submarine service and retired after 20 years of service. Norman graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and worked as an accountant. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him Survivors: Beloved wife of 61 years, Lynnita Holland Emmons; son, Michael Emmons and wife, Debra; daughter, Marsha Emmons and husband, Craig Smith; grandchildren, Dagan, Kristyn, Jacob and Kaiti; brother, Allen Emmons; and aunt, Perky Dowdle.
