Myrna Kay Ward

July 28, 1941 — June 14, 2016

Myrna Ward ~ Myrna was born on July 28, 1941, as second born child to Jesse and Julia Curtis in Arlington, TX. She grew up in the Tate Springs community, and attended Fort Worth's Handley High School. She has been a lifelong member of Tate Springs Baptist Church, where she grew up and attended with immediate and extended family, as well as establishing many lasting and treasured friendships during her lifetime. Myrna married the love of her life, Richard Ward, and they were married 49 years before his passing in 2009. Special thanks to her “sisters” group with whom she loved traveling, eating out, going to movies, and other outings. During her time of battling lung cancer these ladies, along with her brother, became her invaluable support and care system and our angels on earth. Survivors: Daughters, Kay Lynn Winkle and Kari Pride; son-in-law, Cary Winkle; grandsons, Cameron Winkle, Richard Pride, Corbin Winkle, Reid Pride, and Ross Pride; her brother, Lowell Curtis, and sister-in-love, Annie; sister, Jane Hefley, and brother-in-law, Robert; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Billy and Elizabeth Ward; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
