Myrle Lea Jacobson

Myrle Lea (DeFrance) Jacobson, 69, passed away at home on Monday, September 21, 2020. A memorial service will be at Wade Funeral Home, Arlington, TX on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity. Myrle was born March 15, 1951, in Marshalltown, IA to Charles and Bertha DeFrance. She graduated from South Tama County High School in 1969, where she was a highly recognized actress, and from the University of Iowa, where she met her husband, James Jacobson, with whom she shared a 21 year Air Force Career. She lived her life based on integrity, kindness, benevolence, and compassion. Favorite activities included support for her husband and children, Andrew, Kathryn, and Julie; voluminous genealogy research; and entertaining family and friends, for whom she always had a generous smile.
