Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My deepest sympathy to you, Kathleen and Sean and Shane and your families. After moving to Kentucky in 1976 I wasn’t able to visit with the family except at family reunions. Being an only child my cousins are the closets things I have to brothers. “Mikie”, (as I used to call him,) and I played together. We were fortunate to live on the same street growing up, I have such happy memories of those times. I had recently reconnected with Mike on Facebook and could tell he loved the Lord Jesus by the comments he left for me there, and was walking closely with Him. Praise God for that. I’m sure it is a great comfort to know that Mike is with our Lord now enjoying what we here can only imagine, until we also are called by Jesus to come Home. I’m sure Mike heard those precious words we who belong to Jeaus all long to hear “Well done good and faithful servant”.
I am praying for you to be strengthen and comforted during this difficult time.
I am not able to attend the services due to health issues, but know for certain you are in my thoughts.
    With Love in Christ Jesus,
    Linda (Webster) Spraggins

  5. So sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. Toni and I will always remember our friendship with Mike and Kathleen in our “younger days’. One of our fondest memories with the choir at Fairview in Sherman was having the two of you in choir. Especially having Mike pay bass for the choir and the “Lighthouse Trio”. Kathleen, remember the album we recorded? It’s title from a song on the record? It was “Love that Cannot Separate Us” You and the boys and the family have that assurance that Mike knew Jesus and nothing separates him from His love. We will see him again. Our love and prayers are with you. Sorry that I was in Colorado until last night and Toni had school functions.
Give us a call sometime in the days ahead.
    Love you,
    Charles
