Michael Wayne Wittkower, age 69, passed to eternal life peacefully on February 12, 2023 while in hospice in Arlington, Texas.
Michael was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on June 8, 1953 to Louis Wittkower, Jr. and Pauline Wittkower.
Michael enjoyed a long and successful career in the Texas Air National Guard 136th AW HQ rising to the rank of Master Sergeant. During his many years of service, Michael was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal, various campaign medals and the Texas Adjutant General’s Individual Achievement Award.
He earned his Associate Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in 1976 at Eastfield College. He attended Community College of the Air Force, East Texas State and the University of Texas at Dallas.
Michael was confident in his faith and savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis Wittkower, Jr. and Pauline Wittkower.
He is survived by brothers Louis Wittkower III, Robert Wittkower; sister Patricia Wittkower Golkar; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Michael lived a life of faith in God and service to country. He leaves us with happy memories and will be missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Michael will be held from 6:00pm-9:00pm on Tuesday, February 21 at the Wade Family Funeral Home in Arlington, TX. Michael will be buried at the DFW National Cemetery at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 22. Please arrive at 9:30am.
