FORT WORTH -- Melba Pauline Gideon, 95, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, in Bedford. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, send money to Arlington Community Church Bible Camp Fund, 1715 W. Randol Mill Road, Arlington, Texas 76012. Pauline was born Aug. 17, 1919, in Fort Worth to L.Z. Clement and Daisy Helen Conner Clement. Pauline was a devoted mother and wife. They were married over 60 years. Her husband was a minister of the gospel to those in prison. She was a Sunday school teacher and had a passion for being purposeful for her Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Albert Gideon, on Aug. 9, 1999; and grandsons, James Gideon and Stephen Leake. Survivors: Son, Leonard Albert Gideon Jr.; daughters, Martha Jean Leake, Rosemary Gardner, Mildred Pauline Gideon, Rebecca Ann Gideon and Paula Marlene Barnhill; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
