Max Lee Walker, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2022 in Weatherford, Texas.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 West Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76013. Burial will be Monday November 7th at 1:00 p.m. at the Mausoleum of Green Acres Memorial Park, 3201 N. Main St., Cleburne, Texas 76033.
Max was born on April 3, 1933 in Hill County, Texas to McCagle “Mack” and Mary (Mozel) Walker. His brother Don preceded him in death.
After graduation from Cleburne High School, Max joined the U.S. Army and served until March 21, 1956. He began his career and worked as a mechanic and electrician at Texas Steel, Santa Fe Railroad and retired from Miller Brewery.
Max was preceded in death by his beloved wife and best friend of 32 years, Carol. He is survived by two daughters, Tori Bruney and husband Dan and Traci Harrelson and husband Pete; four step daughters, Karmen Russell and husband Victor, Susan Elliot and husband David, Sallee Cross, Sandee Densmore and husband Michael, three step sons; Tim Bruce and wife Dana, Douglas Caraway and wife Bonnie and David Caraway and wife Dana, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild as well as a host of wonderful friends and family.
