HALTOM CITY -- Our dear free spirit Mary Beth Chastain, mother, wife, sister, aunt, great aunt and grandmother has left us to be in the arms of Angels and the lord. Mary Beth's journey on earth was short but she touched everyone that she met with her warm heart & spirit. Funeral: 10 a.m. Sunday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Memorials: Donations may be made to North Richland Hills Animal Adoption Rescue, 7200 Dick Fisher Dr S. # B North Richland Hills, TX 76180, (817) 427-6570 Mary Beth was born on 4/8/61 in New Rochelle, NY. She was the oldest of four children born to Thomas Arthur Quinn and Mary Elizabeth Halpin. She went to school in NY and moved to Texas in 1981 to be with her family. She married in 1983 and her son Brendan, whom she adored, was born in 1986. Her passion in life was taking care of animals and her calling was working for the NRH Animal Adoption and Rescue as a Humane Officer where she truly made a difference in the care and welfare of all of God's creatures. She met and married Bubba the love of her life in 2008 and they enjoyed 7 wonderful years together. Mary Beth made many friends along the way. She loved the beach and the ocean and was most at peace when listening to the waves and soaking in the sun. Her greatest joy & happiness was surrounding herself with family who loved her deeply. MB is now with the angels and Mother Mary who are holding her in their loving embrace. Mary Beth is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Quinn and her uncle, Jimmy Halpin. Survivors: Husband, Michael Chastain Jr.; son, Brendan Harvey and wife, Kayla and their daughter on the way, Elizabeth Marie; sister, Maureen Jander and fiance, Tom; brothers, Tom Quinn and Chris Quinn and wife, Karen; Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Martha Lynn Chastain and Michael W. Chastain Sr.; aunt, Rose; sister-in-law, Tisha Lynn Fowler and husband, Roby; nieces and nephews, Nicole and Jessica Jander, Shane Quinn and Tristen Fowler; great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets.   3. I worked with and knew Mary Beth as I was a long time volunteer for NRHAARC. Her kindness, strength and dedication will long be remembered. My deepest sympathy to her loved ones and friends she leaves behind. Our world was a much better place because she was in it.
