Hereford Patrick (Pat) Ferguson, 79, born February 16, 1939 passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Ferguson, mother, Louise Latham Ferguson, son, Jay Patrick Ferguson, and sister, Betty Lou Ferguson Martin. He is survived by his wife, Nancy McCasland Ferguson. Children: daughter, Karen Ferguson Shadden and husband Darrel of Mineral Wells, son, Joe Michael Ferguson of Southlake, daughter, Jana Stanfield of Colorado, daughter, Julie Stanfield Strickland and husband, Rodney of Tennessee, son Doug Stanfield and wife, Lisa of Amarillo. Grandchildren: Jo'Shae Ferguson Worley, J.R. Ferguson both of Lubbock, Lee Shadden of Hurst, Rick Johnson of Luisville, Erika Johnson Reid of Ft. Worth, Halee Shadden Richeson of Burleson, Kadee Shadden of Dallas, Cynthia Shadden, Luis Shadden, Sedrick Shadden, Joseph Shadden all of Mineral Wells, Amy Bergers of Houston, Chandler Ferguson of Dallas, Chance Robertson of Austin, Cade Robertson of Nashville, TN, and Skylee Stanfield of Amarillo. Great grandchildren: 18 Pat is survived by a brother, Mike Ferguson of Florida & sister JoAnn Ferguson Hill of Hereford. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM Friday 28th at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 West Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Funeral is the 29th at Grand Prairie Baptist Church, 310 N. Belt Line Rd at 12 PM. Burial will be on Monday October 1st at 1:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington. Pallbearers: Sam Parish, Ed Donnelly, Skip Stemple, Bill Hedges, Jerry Young, Jack Sparks all from CowTown T Club. Gary Page from Lonestar Ts. Pat was born in Ada, Ok. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1957. He married Nancy McCasland Ferguson August 17, 1981. They were currently residing in Grand Prairie, TX. Pat was an entrepreneur right out of high school. He worked at Western Flower shop and soon purchased the store and served the Hereford community. He also joined the Army reserves during this time. He soon turned to farming joining his father-in-law and in 1967, moved his family to Austin, NV where he continued farming and ranching. Upon returning to Texas in 1974, he soon found his passion in Real Estate. He located back in his home town, Hereford, TX, receiving top salesman for 5 years and obtained his broker license. He and his wife, Nancy relocated to Dallas area in 1982 where he continued in real estate sales/investments. Pat was an active member of Grand Prairie Baptist Church, a member and past president of Cowtown Model T Club and Lonestar T Club. He and his wife Nancy enjoyed many road trips in their model T car.
