Maria Hilda Chapa, 89 of Arlington, Tx passed away on July 19, 2022. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family unconditionally.
Hilda was born in Laredo, Texas on February 05, 1933. She was predeceased by her parents Manuel Quintero, Maria Salome Arrabide and her daughter Araceli Chapa. She was wife to Onofre B Chapa and mother to Lorraine, spouse Jesus Mauricio, son Paul, spouse Iva Gutierrez, son Onofre Jr, spouse Kazumi Chapa, and son Omar, spouse Analee Chapa. She was abuela to 10 and bisabuela to 14 who were the light of her life.
Hilda enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and her two guilty pleasures were sweets and watching her “novelas.” She was born in Laredo, Texas and lived the majority of her life in South Texas before residing to Arlington in 2010. She would have celebrated her 58th wedding anniversary to the love of her life Onofre Sr on August 8, 1964.
Always loving until God called her home.
