ARLINGTON -- Larry Wayne White, 63, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, in Dallas. Funeral: 9 a.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 11 a.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Lane A. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Larry was born May 27, 1952, in Midland to Hayden and Gloria White. He married Linda Sue Hendrix on Nov. 30, 1979, in Durant, Okla. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a defense system trainer specialist. Larry was a self-employed gunsmith, gun engraver, and bit and spur maker. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Larry was a devoted father and grandfather who spent his free time passing along his knowledge of hunting, fishing and hot rods to his children and grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Loving wife, Linda White; sons, Jake White and Mike Jackson; daughter, Jamie Badoni; grandchildren, Austin, Gavin, Cameron, Dylan, Sophie, Logan, Cooper, Jackson, Brooklyn and Hendrix; brother, Danny White; sisters, Gloria Hughes, Cindy Rench and Tania Audrey; and numerous nieces and nephews. You were a great advisor, friend, mentor and always offered your skills and talents to help me out when I needed it. Was very fortunate to have you as my neighbor. You will be greatly missed. He’s been such a kind and thoughtful man and so talented with his bit making skills. Richard really enjoyed the day Larry showed him around his shop.
