Kibibie Leon Hodge

Kibibie Leon Hodge (44), Ft. Worth, TX - transitioned from this life on October 16, 2021. Robert Lee Hodge and Patricia Ann Collier were married on March 28, 1975 - Albuquerque, NM, and to that union was added one child, Kibibie Leon Hodge, born May 4,1977. Kibibie graduated from Sam Houston High School in May 1995 and went on to attend Grambling State University from 1995 until 1998. And after receiving his Series 7 License, he started his career as a Stockbroker for Fidelity Investments. Kibibie then went on to work as as a Personal Banker for Chase Bank and was also an entrepreneur. Kibibie married Angelique Dunn on March 10, 2001 - Grambling, LA., and to that union was added five children: Kalaya Anastasia (19), Kaleah Alexandria (19), Michal Abrielle (15), McKenzie Ammiel (13), and son, Kibibie Leon, Jr. "K.J." (11). Kibibie was best known for spending time with his children, making music, a great dancer, his love for the water, and was an excellent swimmer. He was also known for dressing well in the latest fashions and shoes; he also enjoyed playing sports, and video games. Kibibie is survived by his mother, Patricia Ann Collier of Princeton, TX and brother, Johnathan Lewis, Jr. of Dallas, TX; Angelique Hodge, wife (former) and their 5 children, all of Arlington, TX; maternal grandmother, Lela Mae Foster and great aunt, Jen Robinson, both of Waco, TX; aunts: Willie Lee Brown of Huntington, TX, Barbara Jean Williams of Lufkin, TX, Anna Powdrell of Albuquerque, NM, Janet Hodge-Carmon of Austin, TX and Dee Hodge of Rio Rancho, NM; uncles: Ernest Flanders, Jr. of Newark, NJ, Lonnie Hodge and Peter Hodge, both of Albuquerque, NM, Earnest Hodge of Hobbs, NM; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Kibibie is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Hodge; maternal grandfather, Earnest Collier, paternal grandparents, M. T. and Annie Lois Matkins-Hodge; (aunts): Sharon Flanders, Beulah Barnes, Velma Brown, Louise Brown, and Zillie Davis; (uncles): Johnny St. Julian, Earl Williams, Charles Barnes, Wilbur Hodge, Michael Hodge, Charles Hodge, and Alfred Basinger. The Service for Mr. Kibibie Leon Hodge will be held October 30, 2021, at 2:00 PM - Wade Funeral Home & Crematory, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway - Arlington, TX 76013.
