Kelly Ober, Jayden Evans and Laing Russler

kelly ober, jayden evans and laing russler
We are overwhelmed and humbled with the outpouring of love, thoughts, sentiments and prayers for our family at this difficult time. We are heartbroken as we grieve the loss of Kelly Ober and her two sons, Jayden Evans and Laing Russler. We are gathering for visitation on Friday, March 25 at First Baptist Church, 309 N. Kenney, Kennedale from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 26 at 1pm at First Baptist Church, with graveside burial service to follow at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Kelly, a loving mother, daughter, and sister, grew up in Arlington, Texas and went to school at Martin High School. To know her was to love her. She loved her job with Zodiac Seats, her work family made going to work everyday a treat. Kelly could do anything, and if she didn't know how just give her 5 minutes, her phone and google and she'd have it figured out. She loved life, her family, her church and more than anything, her children. She will be deeply missed but remembered by that big beautiful smile that could light up any room. Kelly is survived by her daughter Haylee Ober, mother and stepfather Brenda and Gary Barrington, brother and sister-in-law Chad & Mindy Ober; aunts and uncles Eileen and Pete Jones, Freddy Petty, Rhonda and Joel Petty; nephews Austin Ober, Knox Ober, Jude Ober, and Sawyer Ober; cousins Bruce Petty, Lauren Petty, Joanna Petty and Clint Petty. Jayden was such an amazing young man. So smart and caring, and just the sweetest boy. He loved his school, basketball, reading, cooking and spending time with his family. Jayden was the best brother and son and would do anything for his family. Jayden is survived by his father Sean Evans,(his mother's family listed above), his stepmother Amanda Evans, grandparents Richard and Susan Evans, great grandmother Dorothy Womack, aunts and uncles Chris and Charnice Evans, brothers and sisters Colton Evans, Zakary Snider and Ashley Evans, and cousins Chase Evans and Caelie Evans. Laing was such a smart and happy boy. He loved to learn, play video games, hike, camp, fish and basically anything outdoors. His laugh was infectious and you couldn't help but smile to be around him. Laing was the youngest brother and son and so loved by his family. Laing is survived by Kelly's family listed above and grandmother Julia Russler, aunts and uncles Chad & Mindy Ober and Rebekah & Wade Jacobson. Memorials: In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to be made for Kelly to Fusion Bible Church, 2515 Lamberth Drive, Sherman, Texas 75092; in the name of Jayden to Fairview Elementary School, 501 W. Taylor Street, Sherman, Texas 75092; and for Laing, Montessori Academy of North Texas, 906 Cottonwood Street, Sherman, Texas 75090. Wade Family Funeral Home Arlington, 817-274-9233

  3. My Heart Goes Out To Everyone Sorry About Your Lost Of Your Loved Ones God Has Taken Three Angels Home To Be With Him God Bless Everyone And Everyone Is In My Prayers And Thoughts

  4. Our deepest condolences and sympathy to the family and friends.
There are no words to describe the loss of Kelly and her boys, whom she loved so much. All parents, teachers and kids will remember their smiles and gracious attitude towards all of us forever. We feel your void, which is our void in our lives now too.
My son lost one of his best friends at school and he said he will remember Laing forever.

    Rest in peace!
May God comfort those who mourn and grieve.

  5. Kelly will be missed by so many from her work family. I will miss trading “daughter” stories with her. She always smiled so big when she talked about Haylee, shake her head and laugh. Words cannot express the loss we all feel and share with you. God be with you and keep you strong.

  6. Brenda, Haylee, and Gary,

My prayers have been with you from the very moment I heard of this terrible tragedy. As a parent, I can not even imagine the pain your are enduring, but I know that we serve a gracious and loving God, who has promised to never leave us, nor forsake us. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

May the God of all comfort fill that aching void in your heart with His peace.

    All our love,
    Allen and Judy Daniels

  7. We are thinking of Kelly and the boys again today, as everyday. We will miss you always Kelly. Such a loss of beautiful souls. Love you. Aunt Grandma and Pappy
