  1. Kim,

I tried to light a candle for Kedra and it somehow didn’t work. I wanted to tell you that my girls and I have been thinking about you and want to offer our prayers and love at this difficult time. We all have our memories of Kedra, though it has been a long time since any of us have seen her. I know Sarah and Lillian were both Facebook friends and followed her there. It was Sarah who told me earlier today about her passing.

I did share a story and would like to donate to something that is meaningful to you. I thought you would not want to be bothered by calls right now, I think I do have your address and will send a card soon. When you can let me know to whom I can donate. You have my email. God bless, you Kim, Kayna, Dustin, Drew and all the rest of your families, and much love from all of us.

Pat Gilmore and Lillian and Sarah Gilmore

  6. I am so sorry for your loss. Though Kedra and I only knew each other for a couple months I will always cherish memories with her and seeing that beautiful smile. Even when she didnt want to wake up early in the morning. She was there for me when I was weak and helped me continue staying strong. And I enjoyed her company when she lived with me for that brief time at the beginning of April. I want you to know she was very special to me and was like a sister to me and I will be there Thursday to say my goodbyes but would like for you to know that if you need anything at all please let me know. Love you Kedra! My heart goes out to everyone affected by the loss of a wonderful person especially her mother because I know how much you meant to Kedra and no mother should ever have to go through such a tragedy as this. May she rest in paradise. God bless

  7. My dearest friend Kim and Family,
I’ve always been in awe of the love and closeness of your family, and though that makes your loss impossibly difficult right now, it will carry you through this difficult time. I know that your enormous and unwavering love will inevitably assure you that life is as eternal as your love for, and from, Kendra. I love you all.
    Peace,
    Ardys

  9. Kim, Losing a child is every parent’s nightmare. My heart is broken for you and your family. Kedra was such a beautiful girl, lost way too soon. My son Ben knew her from Martin High school, and said she lit up the room with her infectious smile. She was a beautiful, giving person.

Kim, Kedra will always be part of your life. Hang on to your faith… Only God can get you through times like this … your friends will help. I pray I am one of them.

I planted a rose bush in Kedra’s honor today. It was too dark when I finished, but I’ll send you a pic tomorrow.

Love to your grieving family…. Helen R.

  10. Dear Sweet Kim – I just learned today of your loss and there are no words to adequately express my sincere condolences. I am just heartbroken for you and your family. I will never forget all the years of Talent Shows and what a light your precious baby girl was to those around her. Please know you are in my prayers and Kedra will always be in my heart as one of Landon’s first elementary friends. She always made me smile every time I was in her presence. I will never forget “Proud to be an American” and how precious Sam, Kedra and Landon looked as they performed. I am so sad for you and regret that I wasn’t at the service to show my love and support. I would have been if only I had known. May God give you ultimate comfort as only He can do.
