ARLINGTON -- Kay Donna Cook, 76, devoted mother and wife, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012, in San Antonio. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday in Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home. Kay was born Nov. 6, 1935, in San Saba to George Ford and Voline Thornton Ford. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Chase Cook. Survivors: Husband of 59 years, John Cook; son, Michael S. Cook and wife, Sue; daughters, Karyl Hiilsmeier and husband, Dennis, Kathy Bennett and husband, Dayton; sister, Marrene Richardson; granddaughters, Channa, Misty, Lynnsey and Krystal; and six great-grandchildren.
