Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Sweet sweet ms. Joan. Our evenings in the porch rockers were so special to me. Nothing made me feel better than to open the car doors and have a seat with you and pour out my day. You gave me advice and help raising our family, while mr. Tony gave them chocolate donuts and taught then to crow like roosters. I can hear you say ‘oh tony’ with a smile as he grinned with mischief. We will miss you terribly, but hold our memories close and the family closer. All of our love to the Rhodes as they work through their grief. We grieve with you.

  2. So sorry to hear of your great loss. God must have needed another great woman in heaven. I especially remember the fun cheerleading days we had together-there were many of them. We also played softball together and Joan was a great pitcher and hitter. Joan could always brighten your day with her beautiful smile and laughter. She could make you laugh so hard that the tears would always come – I don’t know who had more tears, me or her. We are feeling your sorrow and sharing in your sadness. In God’s love and ours.
