ARLINGTON -- Jerry Bigham, 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday Oct. 27, 2012. He died of natural causes at his home in Arlington. Memorial service: 4 p.m Thursday at First Baptist Church Arlington, 301 S. Center St., Arlington, with Dr. James Scirratt officiating. Jerry grew up in Corpus Christi and graduated in 1956 from Ray High School. He participated in football, track, baseball and basketball. Jerry still to this day holds several track and football records at Ray High School. Jerry accepted a football scholarship at the University of Colorado after his distinguished high school athletic career. Jerry had a successful sales career highlighted by his time as a stock broker with AG Edwards. He retired in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and cherished his time with family and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother and father, Laura and James Bigham of Corpus Christi, and his brother, James of Columbus, Ohio. Survivors: Sons, Jerry Bigham Jr. of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Robert Bigham of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Jason Bigham of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Karen Bigham Pearce; and grandchildren, Ryan, Cade, Jacob, Claire, Jeremy and Avery.   1. My friendship with Jerry started in the second grade at Elizabeth Street Elementary School in Corpus Christi, and continued through high school. I have many fond memories of Jerry. He was a very likeable person, with many friends. Please accept my deepest condolences at this sad time.
