Sgt Jermaine Wingfield

The son of Wayne McGriff and the late Lula Wingfield was born October 28, 1984 in Albany, Ga. He departed this earthly life on September 9, 2022 at the early age of 37.

Jermaine attended school in Albany, GA before entering the United States Marine Corps in 2004. While serving his country for 13 years, he became a brother to many and obtained numerous awards and recognition. After serving in the USMC and working as a diesel mechanic, Sgt Wingfield started his own company and became a successful entrepreneur. No matter the accolades, his accomplishments never got in the way of being an active father, avid gun collector, loving husband, and friend to many.

He leaves behind a large legacy to mourn his passing: wife (Rikita); four children (Jermaine II, Jaela, Douglas, and Ahrianna); father (Wayne); seven siblings (Demond (late), Montell, Jerome, Heather, Ricko, Brandon, and Helen); and a host of family and friends who will love and miss him dearly.
