He worked as a Service and Engagement Lead at Target in Weatherford, TX while attending The University of Texas at Arlington parttime. Jase had received his Associates Degree from Weatherford College. His goal was to achieve a BA in English, and go on to get his Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Creative Writing, after which, he wanted to become a college English professor. Being a determined individual in following his Christian faith, he traveled with Youth With A Mission to New Zealand and the Philippines. Following those mission trips, he went to Capetown, South Africa with his brother Reese to do a 9-month School of Biblical Studies with YWAM. Jase loved learning about different cultures, meeting new people, and sharing his faith with others. He loved his family, his cats, writing songs and music, his work at Target, where he made close friendships, hanging out with his longtime best friend, Tanner, and his sweet girlfriend, Savi. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved him.

  1. To the Lyle Family:
I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of having Jase as a student in 3 of my creative writing classes at UTA over the course of the past 3 semesters and I found that not only was he a really terrific writer but he was also a wonderful person. I would give a little cheer every time I saw his name on my class roster each new semester. Most recently, Jase was a student in my Novel Structuring Workshop. His project was one of the most engaging in the class and I looked forward to reading his chapter summaries every week. I will truly miss him. In 21 years of teaching he was easily one of my favorite students.
    Best,
    Laura Kopchick”

  2. Right here is the right web site for anyone who really wants to understand this topic. You understand a whole lot its almost tough to argue with you (not that I actually would want to…HaHa). You certainly put a new spin on a subject that’s been written about for decades. Great stuff, just excellent!
