When Jane was 18 she met and fell in love with a Marine. They tried to elope but Jane's best friend Nan contacted Jane's mother who located Jane and Curt and ensured they married in the church; the couple moved to Kerrville, Texas in 1958. Jane and Curt had all of their children in Kerrville, TX and moved to Lubbock, TX where the children were raised.

Frank and Jane have truly lived life to the fullest with their love of travel, cooking, music, dancing and spending time with all of their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. Jane truly loved her children, she was exceptionally proud of them, their spouses that became family and the grandchildren that Kim and Steve and Brenda brought in to this world. For as long as we can all remember, Jane has always had a family pet. She loved Missy (their 7 year old Shih Tzu).
Jane was a realtor for 25 years working in Lubbock, El Paso and Arlington. She had a passion for helping people in finding their perfect home; she made some of her long lasting friends through the real estate business.
Jane was fond of traveling and truly enjoyed visiting Europe, Brazil and Hong Kong. In preparation for the trip to Hong Kong she took two semesters of Mandarin at the University of Texas Tech. She was so proud that she could communicate with the locals upon her arrival.
Jane had a love for playing tennis, loved their horses, loved listening to music and dancing, loved cooking for her family and friends but most importantly loved her Dallas Cowboys.
