ARLINGTON -- James Edward Hunter, 84, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 in Arlington.
Graveside Service: 11:15 a.m. Monday in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington.

It saddens my heart to hear about Mr. Hunter. He was a very special person. My grand daughter Emily and I always looked forward to seeing him on Tuesdays and Saturdays when we visit the residents at the Nursing Home. He was one of our favorites, always so kind and a joy to talk to. We missed him today when we were there. Emily wanted to know if we could visit him in heaven. I told her some day we will. Mary, if there’s anything we can do for you please let us know. We love you too.
Mary I am so sorry for your loss. Sending prayers to give you strength to survive your tremendous loss. Anytime you get lonely come visit us. It’s going to be so strange not having him to take care of anymore. I’m still in shock. Love you and take care of yourself.

I was very shocked and upset when I went in on
Monday at the nursing home to find out Mr. Hunter has passed away. I already miss him
giving the fist bump and his smile. The table
in which he sat has been empty and he will be
missed. The residents were heart broken also
and it was a sad day on Monday. We know he
is in HEAVEN and will be looking down on everyone and watching over you as well. Keep
your smile and remember the long years together and all the fun times you shared.
