James Allan Kelley: lovingly referred to as “Jimmy” by family and “Jim” by his friends, died at the age of 60 in Arlington, TX. He was born in Chattanooga, TN the eldest son of Bertha Joyce Johnson Lovell and Carlton Kelley. Although Texas has been his home since a young age, Jimmy's heart has always been in the Mountains of Tennessee. He enjoyed hiking and exploring the lush mountainside and watching nature. He had just returned from visiting his families in Alabama and Chattanooga prior to his death. He was a proud member and long time volunteer of New World United Methodist Church, Arlington, TX. We are confident that Jimmy is happy and at home with our Lord Jesus Christ. Jimmy had a huge desire to help people and rarely met a stranger. He spent his last years helping his elderly parents. He relished any task that was given and provided an excellent job. He was quick witted and loved a good laugh. He had an unfailing love for his family. He leaves behind his mother and stepfather which he referred to as “Pops”, Joyce and George Lovell,.. Daughters, Heather, Jasmine, Gabriel Michelle, Stephanie and son Jessie. Stepchildren Kacey, Allenia, Kellsey and Ashton. He also leaves 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 1 stepsister and 2 stepbrothers. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and his good friend and confidant Tonya Smith. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Wade Funeral Home. Home, Arlington, TX..
