DALWORTHINGTON GARDENS -- James "Jim" L. Marzano, 73, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, 313 N. Center, Arlington.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Jim was born in Pennsylvania on Dec. 31, 1941. In the 1970s he moved to Texas, where he was an engineer for more than 30 years with Bell Helicopter. Jim was an avid hunter, swimmer, tennis player and artist. He was a devoted husband, father and "Big Daddy" to his three grandsons.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Marzano.
Survivors: Wife, Jacquie Marzano; son, James Marzano and wife, Klare, and grandson, Enzo; daughter, Jana Birdwell and husband, Brian, and grandsons, Charlie and Henry; father, Arthur; brothers and their wives, Art and Betty, Gene and Sharon, and Mike and Lisa; three nieces; three nephews; and brother-in-law, Mack Farmer and wife, Tracie, and niece, Mackenzie.

Please accept my condolences for your loss . I enjoyed working with Jim and miss his ready laugh and sense of humor.
We are both very saddened by Jim’s sudden death. All our thoughts and prayers are with your family and especially you Jacquie. Due to Marty’s health we will not be able to attend Jim’s Memorial. We will miss his wonderful sense of humor and his many stories
