James Kirk Rutherford

james rutherford
James "Kirk" Rutherford was born on August 17, 1954 in Dallas, Texas. He left this world for Heaven on October 11, 2020. His wife Victoria, son Jeremy, daughter Jaime, her husband Jeffrey and grandson Silas were blessed to have him as he was a wonderful daddy, grandpa and beloved husband. Kirk also leaves behind his father, Pat, brother and sister in law, Patrick and Claudia, sister Linda, sister in law Cathi Edwards, sister and brother in law Sherry and Bishop Allen and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Kirk was a talented guitar player and song writer. He loved sports, was a great skier, baseball player and just "being" with his family. He had many close friends whom he adored; you all know who you are. We will miss him terribly. We know he is in heaven as he was a devout Christian. Our hearts know we will see him again. A memorial service is pending. "Shall I go up to heaven or dwell the valley, You are there. Should I ride the morning wind to the farthest of oceans You are there. This is too glorious, too wonderful I can never be away from Your presence, oh Lord." Psalm 139 Wade Family Funeral Home (817) 274-9233

  2. I grew up with Kirk! I have so many memories of our youth together. It was a total shock when I heard of his passing! I knew Kirk to be a great friend and Husband and Dad! I will miss our occasional conversations. God speed my friend! God bless Victoria and the family! I will always remember his friendship and kindness!

  3. I’m so very sorry to just hear that Kirk passed back in October.. Kirk was a wonderful guy, so helpful and such a great realtor. He’s the person who helped our family secure our first (and current) home back in late 2014, and we leaned on him heavily through the process, he had a way of making things seem much less stressful, and we are forever grateful.. Rest In Peace, Kirk.. God bless.

  4. I’m just finding out abt Kirk passing away. On Nextdoor, I wanted to see if any neighbors could recommend any good real estate pros. Kirk’s name was mentioned more than once! I emailed him to tell him my current situation, and that I found out abt him on Nextdoor. I asked him if he would he still be in the biz when and if I sell my home. He was so kind and said he would still be around. Thus, I kept his name and info in a folder when I was ready to contact him again. I could tell by his emails he was a man of faith. God rest your soul Kirk
