ARLINGTON -- James Edward King, 80, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 in Arlington. Graveside Service: 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Lane B. Memorials: First United Methodist Church, 313 N Center St., Arlington, TX 76011. Buddy was born in Shreveport, but grew up in Atlanta, TX. After graduating from Centenary College, he served in the Army. Buddy and his wife, Jane moved to Arlington in 1957. He worked in pipeline operations for Conoco and Fina retiring from both companies. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Arlington Senior Men's Golf Association. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. James E. King and Mary E. King. Survivors: Wife, Jane; daughter, Mary King Hughes and husband, Kenneth of Waco; grandson, Preston King Hughes. Wade Family Funeral Home Arlington, 817-274-9233
