Born in: Liberty, Texas
Resided in: Arlington, Texas

Howard Blaine Harris, “Blaine”, entered into eternal rest on April 29th, 2024 at the age of 62, after a courageous fight against cancer.
He was born in Liberty TX on December 2nd, 1961 to the late Billy L Harris and the late Mary V. Watson Harris and was raised in Terrytown LA. (A suburb of the New Orleans area), and was a resident of Arlington TX from 2001 until his death.

He graduated from River Oaks Academy in 1980 and married his high school sweetheart Beth Fite, in November, 1981. Together, they raised 2 sons, Patrick Harris (Heather) and Corey Harris (Christina), and proudly spoiled 5 beautiful grandchildren. Luke, Abigail, Elizabeth, Alexander and Matthew.

Though Blaine wore many professional hats early on, including working on oil production platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, and selling life insurance, the automotive finance and automotive leasing arenas were where he really thrived!

After a highly Successful career in automotive finance he moved into the direct mail and marketing business as a co founder of Results HQ and lastly as sole proprietor of Conquest Mailers.

Having worked his way from automotive sales, to finance, to marketing, he highly understood the industry and was known to mentor many others into successful careers.

His favorite pastimes included being a “Paw B” to his grandchildren, playing golf, and watching John Wayne movies.

He was a passionate sports fan and his love for the New Orleans Saints, the TX Rangers, the Houston Astros and the LSU Tigers brought him lots of grief over the decades. He did however live to see them all become world champions!

He will be forever fondly remembered for his wit, his charm, his smile, his humor, his incredible “numbers” brain and his ability to break the ice in any awkward situation.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Billy Harris Jr.

Survivors include his wife, 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. Other survivors include a brother Harley Harris, a sister Veleska Pritchard (Ronald), a sister Tommie Rae Carter, as well as 5 nieces and 1 nephew.

Blaine’s love and dedication to his family were unwavering and he will be greatly missed.
