Frances Merle Maxwell

ARLINGTON -- Frances Merle Maxwell, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015, in Arlington. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday at Northwest Christian Church, 1001 N. Davis, Arlington, the Rev. David Hargrave officiating. Visitation: 10 a.m. to service time at the church. Frances was born July 7, 1936, in West Helena, Ark., to John Frank Cline and Kathron Presley Cline. She was a Stephen Minister for about 15 years, was very active in the church, and was an elder. Frances was a member of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and participated as pit crew for her husband and chief registrar. She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Frances Paige Maxwell, John Scott Maxwell and Stephanie Maxwell. Survivors: Husband of 46 years, Roy Maxwell; sons, Sammy Maxwell, Scott Bastable, and Roy R. Maxwell and wife, Cindy; daughter, Rae Kusnit and husband, Stephen; sister, Gloria Cline; grandchildren, Randy Burkett, Kristen Schrimpf and husband, Seth, Courtney Rasco and husband, Morgan; and eight great-grandchildren and one on the way.
