ARLINGTON -- Domitila Alcala Soto, 85, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 in Arlington.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 S Davis Drive, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 at Wade Family Funeral Home, Arlington.
Interment: 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Rosary: 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knickerbocker with a reception following.
Domitila was born July 11, 1926 in Christoval to Trinidad and Feliciano Alcala.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ernest and husband, Toby.
Survivors: Son, Toby A. Soto and wife, Anne; daughter, Lieanna Stanton and husband, Rick; brother, August Alcala and wife, Audelia; grandchildren, Tanya, Jennifer, Raul, Jeff, Mandi and Marissa; and 7 great-grandchildren.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you at this time.
I have so many fond memories of Domi and Toby coming over on Saturday or Sunday and drinking coffee and pan dulce with my mom and dad. There were times when she would bring grandma Trinidad over to visit for the weekend and I’d have to give up my bed and sleep on the couch. Losing an aunt stirs memories, but my heart goes out to Lianna and Toby who have lost a mom. I pray you find comfort living life your mom has guided you towards.
