Denise Ann Johnson, 64, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, with her children and family by her side. She was born September 4, 1957 in Angola, Indiana to Phyllis J. and Clare D. Wright.
Denise spent her younger childhood growing up in Angola, Indiana and Arcadia, California and spent most of her teen years in living in Pantego, Texas. Denise was baptized on September 15, 1957 at Saint Anthony’s Church in Angola, Indiana. Her first Holy Communion was May 8, 1965 at Annunciation Church. She graduated from Arlington High School in Arlington, Texas on June 2, 1975. She then graduated college from Tarrant County Community College acquiring her Associate in Applied Science/Fashion Merchandising on May 16, 1979. She took pride in her career in Retail Management and made many lifelong friends along the way. In 2019 she retired and spent all of her time with her children and grandchildren.
Denise married, November 5, 1977 to Danny Joe Coffman and they share a child together, Danielle N. Coffman. Denise married another time to Terry W. Johnson on November 4, 1987. They share three children Shawn A. Johnson, Christopher T. Johnson and Cassidy J. Johnson.
There was never a woman that worked any harder for her family or sacrificed more than Denise. It was the joy of her life to spend weekends with her two granddaughters, Olivia Quinn and Riley Jane. The smile that these two little angels put on Denise’s face made everyday worth fighting for. She loved to draw, watch musicals and share Hallmark and Netflix nights with her children Shawn and Cassidy. She enjoyed working with her daughter Danielle and spending time with one another. She made time for everyone no matter how much pain she was in. She loved unconditionally and shared her love with everyone.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Clare and Phyllis and her mother-in-law Marjorie Prim.
Denise is survived by her daughter, Danielle Coffman; spouse Justin Cross, her son, Shawn Johnson, son Christopher Johnson; spouse Brittany Johnson and daughter Cassidy Johnson. Along with her grandchildren David Cross, Olivia Johnson and Riley Johnson. Her siblings, Sandra Shobe, Randy Wright and Duane Wright, along with many other cherished family and friends.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the friends and family that were by her side at the end.

Denise was one of the most genuine, kind, sweet lady I have ever known. Being her Sister-in-law, I had the joy of watching her have 3 beautiful children, Shawn, Chris, and Cassidy, and share her daughter Danielle. She loved her kids so much and was always happy for a “photo” opportunity, which I took advantage of when I could. I am so thankful that I got to spend some quality time with Denise at my Brother’s home not long ago. We talked mostly about Grandkids and how proud she was of hers. We also talked about our illinesses, the pain, and the hope we both had for better days ahead. I did not get to spend as much time with her as I wanted as we lived in separate towns, but we made up for it at family gatherings. My Brother always included her in all of the family time, and I am so grateful he did. A beautiful lady, inside and out, I willl always remember her sweet smile that always brought a smile to my face. Rest in Peace sweet girl. Love you with all my heart. Suzy
