HALTOM CITY -- Davis Ervin Swenson, Jr., 71, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012 in Hurst.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Davis was born on July 27, 1940 in Hillsboro, ND to Davis Ervin Swenson, Sr. and Vera Annette Beardsley Swenson. He grew up on a farm, served in the Navy, was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors: Wife, Pat Swenson; children, Shannon Swenson and wife, April, Charlotte Rhea and husband, Michael, and Eric Swenson and wife, Melanie; step-daughter, Penny Freeman and husband, Shane; brother, Dennis Swenson and wife, Donna; sisters, Kaye Oleson and husband, Duane and Emily Boyer and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Brittany, Cheyenne, Ben, Emma, Mary, Simon, Baleigh and Spencer; and the mother of his children, Nancy Swenson.

Aunt Pat and the Swenson Family: My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time. I wish that I could be there to give a shoulder to cry on and to support you in this time or sorrow.
