David Joe Teichman, 78, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 in Arlington.
Graveside Service: 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas; Lane B.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Project Restore Hope, 301 S. Center Street #325, Arlington, TX 76010, (817) 276 6494.
Survivors: Wife of 58 years, Elaine Teichman; son, Steven Teichman and wife, Bettye; and daughter, Lorri Teichman Schoeni; and granddaughter, Emma.

Pawpaw, was one of the best men I ever knew in my life. I loved going down there every summer when I was little and I wish I had never taken it for granted. Pawpaw will continue to live on in all of our heart’s forever. He is with God now and waiting for all of us so we can all laugh like we used to for hours on end. I love you grandma, I love you aunt Lorie. We all gotta think positive, pawpaw would want us to be happy, he would want us to remember the good times. I love you all very much.
I will always cherish my memories of my time spent with David. He was a wonderful Father figure to me and I appreciate the guidance and wisdom that he shared.
I know that now he rests in God’s arms that one day we will see each other again in heaven.
Each time we departed company he would tell me that he loved me and say “I’ll see ya kiddo.”
David is greatly missed.
