Dan loved life. His first love was the Lord, Jesus Christ, then his wife Linda, followed by his growing family and friends. He loved his business and employees. He also loved & cherished his many pets. Always putting others first, Dan was a generous & tender-hearted man. He was always willing to help those in need. Dan was a loving, warm, gentle, caring, smart, strong, self-driven, handsome, fun, patient, and courageous man. He loved to sing, dance, & laugh while valuing the time spent with his family. As the “#1 Driver”, Dan loved cars and trains. He also enjoyed traveling with his family, especially to Ocean City, Maryland. From the Thrasher fries to the Philly Cheesesteaks, the Boardwalk was a place Dan never wanted to leave. As an active member in his community, he served on several church boards and a bank board. He served his city of Arlington, Texas as a city councilman and served his country in the Navy. Dan ran the race well. He was loved and will be missed by all.
