Daniel Alejandro Bustamante, 43, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in Dallas.
Funeral Service: 12 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 2 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: Family 2-4 p.m. and friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at the funeral home.
Memorials: Donations may be made to Wounded Warrior’s Project or the Gary Sinise Foundation.
Danny was born on December 26, 1979 in New York City, NY to Mario Bustamante and Jenny Santacoloma Hunter. He moved to Texas when he was 7 and graduated from Granbury High School. He received a degree from UTA in Criminology and Criminal Justice and then went on to have a distinguished career as a Major in the U.S. Army.
Danny was a devoted father and avid Texas Ranger and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed golf, fishing, baseball and golden tee. He also enjoyed listening to country music and was passionate about History. He was a very charismatic individual, the life of the party, and never met a stranger. He was very reliable and always there for others in need. Everything about Danny will be missed including his warm hugs and smile.
Danny is survived by his wife, Kristiana Bustamante; his 3 children, Mia, Skyler, and Dade; his parents, John and Jenny Hunter and Mario Bustamante; his sister, Monica Bustamante; and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
