Our Hall Monitor. He would come around to visit and make sure we were behaving ourselves. We named him Hall Monitor and I think Stormy got him a hat and shirt for the occasion. It was so funny but I have given the photo away to Frances I think. My A250 photo album holds a great deal of history of the years he mentored most of us and tried to discipline us into professionals. We can’t say it always worked.
When my brother was living in Germany there was a Paris Air Show and Aviall/Ryder/Cooper had a booth. Dan invited my brother to come and visit and he would show him around. He did so and that was the biggest thrill for Terry Jones. He will always remember and appreciated the small kindness Dan showed him in France. Our pilot friends send their thoughts as his sales in corporate aviation retained several pilot connection who knew him well. Jake Cobb, who knew him from the Hunt Oil group (Chief Pilot) used to love to play golf with him. I am sure they had old war stories to share as both were in the service. Jake sends his sincere thoughts and prayers also.
