Mr Dale Lee Myers

dale myers

March 25, 1958 ~ October 29, 2022

Born in: Fort Meade, Maryland
Resided in: Arlington, Texas

Dale Lee Myers (spelled the correct way), the kindest, most gentle soul (except when installation projects weren’t going well) passed unexpectedly on 29 Oct 2022. Born into a military family, at Fort Meade, Maryland, Dale entered into the Air Force in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, at the ripe old age of 17. He continued his dedicated service for the next 30 years, including assignments to San Antonio, Korea, England, Germany to name a few and culminated his career as a Command Chief. This cultivated his life-long love of travel and adventure, and ultimately led him to meet the love of his life, Janet.
As everyone who knew Dale understood, he had a passion for fast cars.
Dale loved driving in Germany because he got to break the sound barrier. Dale was a Christian man and never had a bad word to say about anyone. His positivity, joy, and passion affected all those around him. He’d graciously make anyone a mean espresso and converse for hours. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet, his sister Katrina Myers and her partner, Mike Angeline, his brother Greg Myers, step children Michael DaLuz, David DaLuz, Christina Anderson, and grandchildren (who he loved doting on) Austin, Abby, & Andi.

  1. Janet,
You and Dale have continually blessed The 24 in so many ways! We loved it when you prepared food for Birthday Night (5 briskets one time from his home smokers!) and served it. You both made our residents feel so very special and worthy. Our staff always enjoyed having you here to brighten our days! Thank you!!!

Please don’t be a stranger!!! Much love, Marsha and everyone at The 24
