Guestbook

  1. Connie was not only a mother figure to me, she was a very special friend for the last forty years. We shared jokes that made us roll on the floor in laughter, helped each other through some of our rough patches, and just simply enjoyed each other’s company. We shared many an episode of Saturday Night Live and The Six Million Dollar Man, as well as whatever “new wave” experience either of us was into at the moment. I loved sharing her with my boys who have always known her as their “Aunt” Connie. In the last year, Reuben and I had many treasured visits with her where we had the opportunity to hug her neck, reminisce with her, and listen to the “interesting” stories her illness helped her create. Connie was truly a character and we will miss her dearly until we see her again in the presence of our Lord.

  2. Aunt Connie, you will be missed. And in our hearts forever. I am sorry for your loss LeighAnn, Kay and Nancy and families.

  3. Aunt Connie I am really going to miss our talks. Rest in Peace With sympathy to our cousins.

  4. Connie was my dear friend for almost thirty years. When I worked in Ft. Worth, I lived with her during the week. She was always a source of laughter, support and advice over the years when we had long phone conversations. I always enjoyed the group of her friends she introduced me to. I will miss you Connie, I will always love you, see ya. Prayers and love from my sister, Martha. From Mary Bruch, Hamilton VA. Check for a $100 has been sent to the National Kidney Center in Ashburn VA. in Connie’s memory. Pr;ayers for the family also.

  5. Dearest Aunt Connie, may you rest in peace with the rest of your family. To my cousins, so sorry for the loss of your mother. Much love to you all. Terri
