Connie Dagnan, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Memorial visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington. A private service will be held at a later date. Connie was born on Jan. 4, 1940, in Birmingham, Ala. She loved being a Texan and claimed it as her home since 1972. She, along with her husband, Greg, founded Asher's Gourmet Shoppe where she was affectionately known by all as "Mom." Connie was a friend to everyone she met and made a point of knowing their names. She was a spunky lady, always full of life with a feisty attitude and a huge heart. She loved quilting, needle work and old westerns, but mostly Connie loved her family. She will be deeply missed. Survivors: Connie is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Greg Dagnan; daughters, Donna Kennedy (Bill) and Diane Moore (David); sons, Gregory Dagnan (Susan) and Michael Dagnan; grandchildren, Katie Kennedy, Parker Kennedy and Adam Temple.
