WATAUGA -- Cody Glyn Collum, 45, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013, in Watauga.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.
Cody was born May 15, 1968, in Abilene to Edwin Lee Collum and Patricia Ann Demcko Collum. He attended Wylie High School and was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Abilene and the Abilene Jaycees.
His loving and fun personality touched everyone he knew. Cody never met a stranger and was accepting of all.
Cody was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Collum; maternal grandfather, Monroe Sellers; and paternal grandparents, George and Audrey Collum.
Survivors: Wife, Dana Evartt-Collum; mother, Patricia Collum and husband, Robert; stepchildren, Amanda Hollie and Brittany Hollie; brothers, David Collum and Jay Collum and wife, Traci; nieces, Jordan and Peyton; and numerous family members.

I’m sincerely sorry for the loss of Cody Collum, my greatest love.Cody was always a fun, free-spirited man who knew how to bring about laughter and smiles. I didn’t learn of his passing until 2 years after the fact. My heart goes out to all of his family. RIP Cody Collum
