ARLINGTON -- Cedric "CJ" Terrell Davis, 26, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 along with his wife, Lauren Emily Benthall Davis, 26 who passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 in Dallas. Combined Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Fielder Church, 2011 S. Fielder Rd, Arlington. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorials: in lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to family members who will ensure all proceeds are forwarded to the church in Chile where CJ and Lauren served earlier this year. CJ was born on November 9, 1989 in Fort Campbell, KY to Cedric Terrell Davis Sr. and Susan Deon Nash Davis. He graduated from Martin High School and was attending The University of Texas at Arlington. Lauren was born on June 28, 1989 in Fort Worth to Troy Dane Benthall and Tammy Regina Westfall Benthall. She graduated from Arlington High School and received a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from The University of Texas at Arlington. She worked as a marketing coordinator for The Beck Group. The young couple lived to love and serve. A senseless act in a single moment robbed them both of their lives and their friends and family of their presence. CJ is preceded in death by his grandfather, Darrell Nash. Lauren is preceded in death by her grandfather, Earl Westfall. Survivors: CJ is survived by parents, Cedric and Susan Davis; sisters, Brittani Davis and fiance, Joey Vu, EmmaLea Davis and Olivia Davis; brother, Jeremy Holster; grandparents, Willie and Mary Davis and Nancy Nash; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many cherished friends. Lauren is survived by parents, Troy and Tammy Benthall; sister, Brittney Campos and husband, William; grandparents, Vance and Odessa Benthall and Dalton and Anita Herrington; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
