LINCOLN, Ill. -- Carolyn Douglas, 72, of Lincoln, Ill., passed at 12:10 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, at a care facility in Lincoln. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday, April 10, in Restland Memorial Park, Dallas. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home, Arlington. Memorials: May be sent to the Scleroderma Foundation. Carolyn was born Aug. 20, 1942, in Sweetwater, the daughter of John Barcus and Maureen Keathley. She married Alvin Ray Douglas on Aug. 20, 1981; he passed away Aug. 14, 2005. Survivors: Sister, Sandra Pliner of Texas; daughter, Cara Begolka of Illinois; sons, Robert and Bryan Beyette of Texas; grandchildren, Amy Long of Texas, Samantha McDaniel of Illinois, Samuel and Suzannah Beyette of Texas; and great-grandchildren, Joshua Brown of Illinois and Tristan Long of Texas.
