Carolyn Lee Maye, 69, died early Monday, September 19, 2022, in Fort Worth at Medical City hospital.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Faith Christian Center, 6900 U.S. Hwy. 287, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington.
Carolyn was born November 19, 1952, in Detroit, Mich. She worked for the IRS 35 years before retiring in 2007. She also worked part-time at American Airlines for 24 years and retired in 2021.
Thanks to everyone for their tremendous outpouring of love, prayers and support. She will be greatly missed and remembered.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Maye, parents James and Mary Jacks, sister Patricia Jacks and nephew Joshua Jacks.
Survivors: Daughters Patrena Norwood and Sherita (Nathaniel) Cage; beloved siblings Marilyn “Sparkle” Harper and David Jacks; four grandchildren Nadorjaye Cage, Amari Harper, Christian Cage and Raven Harper; only surviving uncle David Edwards; nieces and nephews James (Chantell) Hill, Cortez Hill, Celena Hill, Lesa Jacks, Felicia Lateef and Josalynne Jacks and a host of great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
