Carol Ann Hunter, 81, went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2022, at her home in Arlington, TX.
Carol was born on July 14, 1940 in Quincy, Massachusetts to John Joseph and Mary Agnes Quinn. Married the love of her life, David James Hunter on November 6th,1966 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Quincy, Massachusetts.
Carol was best known for being a loving Mother and Nana. In her early years, she was an avid bowler. Later in life, she loved playing golf weekly with the Arlington Women’s Golf Association. Carol was extremely active in her church participating in St. Peter and St. Paul’s The Order of the Daughters of the King, Alter Guild, Stephen Ministries and founding member of the Widow’s Group. To pass her spear time, Carol doated on her very spoiled dog, Capo.
Carol is survived by 3 sons and their spouses, Scott and Laura Hunter of Midlothian, Tx, Brian and Kathy Hunter of Hurst, Tx, Jim and Cyndi Hunter of Marble Falls, Tx. Her Grandchildren, David Bennet Hunter II (wife) Meagan, Brianna Elizabeth Hunter, Margaret Quinn Hunter, James Wesley Hunter, David Alexander Hunter and Great-Grandchild David Michael Hunter. Her surviving siblings and spouses, Jack and Gail Quinn, Jim and Marge Quinn, Kathy and Paul Shields, Barbara and Tony Manuelpillai. Many beloved Nieces and Nephews, including many close Friends that she loved like Family.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband, David James Hunter, parents, John and Mary Quinn, sisters, Theresa Burke, Mary Heffernan and granddaughter, Amy Marie Hunter.
Service and Interment will be held on Saturday, March 26th, 2:00PM at St. Peter & St. Paul Anglican Church, 3900 Morris Ln, Arlington, TX 76016.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made in Carol’s name to:
Prairie Paws Adoption Center at 2222 W Warrior Trail, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
