ARLINGTON -- Carl Thomas Lampe, 59, passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, in Euless.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Old Arlington Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Carl was born Nov. 23, 1956, in Odessa to Thomas Arden Lampe and Bettie Jane Palmer, a pioneer Arlington family.
He was a member of Lake Arlington Baptist Church.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: Wife, Kimberly Ashley Lampe; son, Thomas Jerod Lampe; daughter, Brittany Suzanne Lampe Nicholson and husband, Jimmy; aunt, Donna Branstener; and several cousins.

WE love you Kim!! Carl and you put up a very valiant fight. If anyone could have beat this it would have been Carl, but it was not to be. He loved you and his family dearly…is now out of his pain & suffering and with his heavenly family and will be there waiting on you someday. We are all so very sorry for your loss. Love, Suzie
I am truly sorry for your loss. Even though it is very difficult to get through what you are facing, reading the beautiful promise from the True God(Psa. 83:18) at Acts 24:15 will give you comfort during this time.
Kim, you are certainly in our thoughts and prayers as are your children. You and Carl shared a life together and I know from experience in losing a spouse that you will have many wonderful memories to cherish of the times spent with your spouse and children over the years. Keep those memories in your heart and take a day at a time, always focusing on the future. Take comfort in your family and friends who are there to provide love and support.
I planned to attend the funeral but will be unable to do so due to a medical appointment that I could not reschedule. I will be thinking of you and your family, however.
