July 19, 1932 ~ February 17, 2023

Born in: Opp , Alabama
Resided in: Arlington, Tx

Callie Lee Elizabeth Meredith Pfeiffer went home to be with her Savior on February 17th at the age of 90.

Callie was born to Rosie and William Meredith on July 19, 1932, in Opp, Alabama. She met her husband, Charles Pfeiffer at First Missionary Baptist Church of West Pensacola when they were young children. They fell in love and married in that same church on April 19, 1950. Callie’s life was devoted to her husband, her family, and to the ministry work that God called them to for over 50 years. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, she loved to read, do crossword puzzles with a pen, and stay in touch with family and friends via cards, phone calls, and Facebook. She was once again reading through the bible in 2023 and was on track to complete the task when she passed away. She held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. That faith was evident by the life she lived, her church attendance, her love for others and for Faith Promise Missions.

Callie joins her beloved husband Charles in Heaven. She is survived by her son, Charles Melvin Pfeiffer, Jr, and her daughter, Cindy Pfeiffer Gann. She was especially happy to be a grandmother to her grandchildren Brandie, Allison, Mel, Noble and Meredith and to her ten great grandchildren.

In the words of her namesake, our 4-year-old Callie, “We don’t have to be sad, we will just love her with our minds.”

Guestbook

  1. Mrs. Callie you now have your reward and no longer have any pain and suffering. Susan and myself really loved you and thought the world of you. Your smile was always wonderful. When we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory.

And last of all ROLL TIDE.

  2. CandleImageOhh Mrs. Callie,

Your precious soul and twinkling smile will.be forever missed. Your heart was as big as Texas! You truly are a troubadour. May you be dancing with Brother Pfeiffer and rejoicing with all the angels. I can only imagine the reunion it must have been. I still cherish all the little pigs you gave me and the angels from Bro. Pfeiffer passing. You two definitely left a legacy behind. Forever rest in peace.

  3. Connie and I love you so much. “Love” is present tense as you are more alive than we are now. What a BLESSING to have you and Bro. Charles as our eternal friends. Looking forward to rejoicing with you all in the presence of our Dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father in the not too distant future. Prayer and blessings to your family.
