Bridget Elaine Derrough was a loving, funny, and wise mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on October 10, 2021 at the age of 60. She was born to Charlie Fred and Ruthie Marnell Derrough on November 16, 1960. Shortly after high school, Bridget met her husband, Rondale Coleman. Together, they had 3 beautiful daughters: Rhonda, Brittany and Kimberli Coleman. Bridget absolutely loved being a mother and adored her children more than anything. Being a mother gave her the highest gratification and the greatest sense of purpose on this earth. Bridget was very talented and uniquely creative. She loved to express her creativity in a variety of ways like cooking, baking, crafting, and singing. Bridget was an avid lover of music, which she joyfully shared with her daughters. She could spend hours listening to her favorite songs while she and her daughters sang along. Greater than this, Bridget loved God. In her late twenties she gave her life to Christ at Truevine Miracle Tabernacle in Grand Prairie, TX, where she later joined and passionately dedicated herself, singing in the choir, aiding the pastors, and learning the Word of God. Bridget possessed a quiet, loving strength that comforted and reached so many. Professionally, she found great satisfaction in working as a Psychiatric Assistant and Mental Health Counselor. Her keen ability to listen and build deep emotional connections with people proved to be her calling in life. She later went back to school and received her college degree in Social Work and was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Bridget leaves to cherish her memory her former spouse, Rondale Coleman of Tyler, TX; three daughters: Rhonda Coleman (Clarence Freeman) of Haslet, TX, Brittany Coleman (Theodore Hendrix) of Dallas, TX, and Kimberli Coleman of Austin, TX; stepson: Rondell Coleman of Jacksonville, FL; sister: Patrice Coleman of Arlington, TX; brothers: Reginald (Christine) Derrough of Mansfield, TX and Charles (Wendy) Derrough of Mansfield, TX; grandchildren: Carson Gentry of Haslet, TX, Azariah Bryant of Irving, TX, and Tahiraah Hendrix of Dallas, TX; nephews: Jarian (Jana) Derrough of Arlington, TX; Timothy Derrough, Jr. and Toren Derrough of Grand Prairie, TX; Sergio Kelly, Timerick Derrough, Kyle Derrough, and Charles Scott Derrough of Mansfield TX; nieces: Lakendra (Demetrius) Haywood of Arlington, TX, Camesha (Ezekiel) Vasquez of Norfolk, VA, and Tymesa Oliver of Grand Prairie, TX, and Staisha Derrough of Mansfield, TX; adoptive daughter: Chaneka (Anthony) Daniels of Daytona Beach, FL; and a host of other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Timothy Derrough.
